The Claremont Hotel is one of Perth’s oldest and most well-known venues, having served generations of patrons since opening its doors 120 years ago. Originally constructed in 1886 before being rebuilt in 1902, the project has delivered a significant $12m refurbishment to restore the landmark venue to its former glory.
Designed to make a positive contribution to Claremont’s town centre, the renovation has doubled the floorplate to 23,000sqmt. The project has restored and revived many of the original heritage features of the hotel, including its facade and staircase, while adding multiple new bars and function rooms, a play area for kids, a heritage sports lounge, and an expansive rooftop terrace and balcony.
