Delivered concurrently with the revitalisation of the iconic Leederville Hotel, this project involved the redevelopment of the surrounding precinct.
It was crucial for the client to preserve the diversity of the Leederville hospitality offering, to ensure the precinct would maintain its connection with all sections of the community. At the same time, there was a need for a greatly expanded food and beverage offering, with the completion of the adjacent ABN building bringing a surge in daily customers. It also needed to safeguard the existing trees, which are a part of the area’s unique identity. The project included some more dramatic changes, like the establishment of a laneway at the rear of the hotel site (now Electric Lane).
